Well...2022 is almost over. And boy, it's been quite the clustercuss. From close relatives dying to the economy and culture tanking, it's been sucky for the most part. I'd wish for 2023 to be better just as I did for 2022, but I'm not holding my breath. Still, a Happy New Year to you all.

Boy, are there a couple of bad weeks I've had. My sister broke her arm on April Fools' Day: fell from her husband's tailgate, tripped over one of her dogs, hit her head, and finally broke her arm. It's healing, but she's had to have a steel plate in her arm for the rest of her life. My mom even wished that this was an April Fool's Day joke...sadly, it's not. Speaking of dogs, you already saw on my recent picture that Bacardi Tallulah - the runt of the family - had died a few weeks ago. So I won't spare any more details. Shortly before that, one of my uncles on my mom's side of the family died after 4 years of battling stage 4 colon cancer. We went up to Pennsylvania to attend his funeral, burying him in the cemetery above his backyard (he lived in a big yard at the bottom of a hill) so that his six grandkids can come visit his grave. It's really hit my grandparents hard, since no parent should ever have to bury their child. THEN 19 days after my uncle died, my grandma died. We
